Pomodoro Timer

The Pomodoro technique splits your work into 25-minute blocks followed by a short break. After four focus blocks you take a longer break. Pomodoro Timer: how does it work?

Click 'Start' to begin your first focus block. The timer counts down from 25:00 and automatically switches to a 5-minute short break. After four focus blocks comes a 15-minute long break, then the cycle starts again. Use 'Pause' to stop temporarily and 'Reset' to return to round 1. No account needed.

Example

A typical pomodoro session: • Focus 25 min → short break 5 min (round 1) • Focus 25 min → short break 5 min (round 2) • Focus 25 min → short break 5 min (round 3) • Focus 25 min → long break 15 min (round 4) Then the cycle repeats automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pomodoro technique?

How long are the breaks?
